Today we are in the cooking class and cooking zucchini at Tamaki College.The recipe is 

the immature fruit of a vegetable marrow a courgette.

2 medium zucchini sliced into 1/2" rounds.

1 tablespoon olive oil.

1/2 teaspoon garlic

1/2 of water

1/3 cup shredded parmesan carrot divided into small pieces.

The Biggest pohutukawa tree in the world is in New Zealand.It's height and age is 1000 years old and it's height is 25 metres long.People around the world just came to New Zealand to see the the biggest and oldest Pohutukawa tree in the world.

Pohutukawa trees are native to New Zealand because Pohutukawa and rata are known as New Zealand's native Christmas tree because of the bright red blooms which decorate the trees during the Christmas season.

Pohutukawa and rata belong to the myrtle family which is made up of about 3000 different tropical and warm temperate trees, shrubs and vines.

New Zealand's Christmas tree may have originated in Australia It belongs to the myrtle tree family which is found all over the South Pacific. It is also one of most widely spread flowering plant groups in the Pacific Ocean.

Māori wear constructed and wore practical, protective garments in hardy materials to keep warm and dry. These included rain capes and cloaks made from a variety of materials.The weaving technique for most rain capes and cloaks was whatu aho patahi, single-pair twining, which enabled faster construction.

The Maori lived in a hut or a whare and the Maori people built their stone house poles to protect their food and dampness and there was rats and dogs inside of the house. A pa (fortress) was usually situated on a hill or cliff.People lived inside if they heard war chants or a shell bugle meaning a warning for a attack and the Maori people ran inside of the Pa and they lived in a iwi (tribes).
